Josh, Jay, JZ, Sean, Kayden, Kyle, Blair, Dave rode in 30 degree weather from Auburn down to the trails starting at Cavitt Stallman school to the singletrack trails along the American River Bike trail, then rode the road over to Dyke 8 to Brown's Ravine, skipped sweetwater by riding across the bridge in the folsom puddle over to Salmon Falls, then road out of the campground road over to some connecting roads that dropped us onto the Olmstead loop then dropped down the PGE trails that drop down to Poverty Bar, and then went up Stagecoach to the railroad tracks, then to the canal and back to South Auburn where we started 72 miles and 7 hours earlier. Of course, Sean showed us that we weren't real men by riding from Foresthill via divide and connector before the ride and then rode home afterwards to tack on another 33 miles. Sean looked effortless all day long and threw the hammer down at the end of the day on Stagecoach and left us in the dust. Nice Job, Sean! Good luck at the Old Pueblo 24 hour race in a few weeks.
James and a couple other mountain bikers joined us to ride along Brown's Ravine.
JZ having a great time and Kyle looking for some fuel like the rest of us.
The ride starting to hurt the singlespeeders and geared dummy, me, who tried to stay in front of them all day.
